An autonomous Israeli submarine was delivered to the German Navy

On Tuesday, Germany received an advanced autonomous submarine from Israel called BlueWhale.
The submarine was developed by Israel Aerospace Industries.
It operates without humans.
It can navigate the sea for many weeks.
It collects intelligence.
It detects mines and underwater threats.
The German Navy purchased the submarine and received it in an official ceremony.

Officials from both countries were present at the ceremony. Israel's ambassador to Germany, Ron Prosor, spoke about the sale. He said it demonstrates Israel's technological capabilities. He emphasized the deep strategic partnership between the two countries.
Germany also purchased the Arrow 3 system from Israel. The sales strengthen security cooperation and the ties between Jerusalem and Berlin.
