Elon Musk is establishing a massive chip manufacturing plant in Texas.
The plant will be called Terafab.
The construction has already begun.
The plant is expected to be approximately 9.3 million square meters in size.

If the plan materializes, it will be the largest building in the world.
Musk wants to manufacture chips there for his companies. The chips will be used for cars, robots, and AI systems. The goal is for Musk's companies to produce more chips on their own.
The first phase of the project is expected to cost approximately $16.8 billion. Eventually, the total cost could reach approximately $119 billion. The plant is also expected to create more than 3,000 jobs.
