Today is the eve of Memorial Day in Israel.
On Memorial Day, we remember all the soldiers who died to protect the country.
We also remember the victims of 'acts of hostility'.
That is, civilians who died in terrorist attacks or assaults against Israel.
At 4:00 PM, a ceremony will be held at Beit Yad LaBanim in Jerusalem.
This evening, at 8:00 PM, there will be a one-minute siren throughout the country.

Immediately after it, the main ceremony will begin at the Western Wall.
On Tuesday morning, there will be another two-minute siren. Following it, there will be memorial ceremonies at the military cemeteries. At 8:00 PM, the torch-lighting ceremony will begin at Mount Herzl. The ceremony will conclude Memorial Day and open the 78th Independence Day celebrations of the State of Israel.
