Love in the sky: A man proposed on the roof of the Empire State Building - and was arrested

Angela Nikolau and Ivan Kuznetsov are a couple of rooftop climbers.
Yesterday, they arrived at the Empire State Building.
They climbed the broadcast antenna on the roof of the building.
They reached a height of about 443 meters.
They displayed a sign that read: 'When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.'
After about half an hour, they climbed down from the top of the antenna.

Kuznetsov knelt down. He pulled out a ring and proposed to Nikolau. She agreed, and the two hugged and kissed.
The act caused traffic congestion in the area. Large police and rescue forces arrived at the scene. After they came down from the building, the police arrested the couple. They are accused of trespassing and causing damage.
