Maccabi Tel Aviv is the basketball champion of Israel

Maccabi Tel Aviv won the Israeli basketball championship for the 58th time.
The team defeated Hapoel Tel Aviv 83:79 in the fourth game of the final series.
They finished the series with a 3:1 victory.
The game was very close.

Hapoel Tel Aviv led in many parts of the game. They seemed to be on their way to victory. But in the last minutes, Maccabi managed to turn the score around.
Lundberg led Maccabi with 21 points. Roman Sorkin scored a crucial three-pointer at a decisive moment. On the other side, Yam Madar scored 26 points, but it wasn’t enough for Hapoel.
At the end, Maccabi players celebrated on the court with the fans. This is the 58th championship for the club, more than any other team in Israel.
